Reception Center for Flood Victims Opens in Branson

hometowndailynews.com

Branson has opened a Reception Center for flood victims in the city.  City officials say it serves as a central location for information regarding current flooding status and to report any needs citizens may have.  The Reception Center is located at Faith Lutheran Church, 221 Malone Street, adjacent to the Lakewood Subdivision.

“We have been taking a lot of phone calls from our residents inquiring about lake levels, how to restore power to their homes, and when they might be able to return home,” said Branson Fire Chief Ted Martin.

Residents can use the Reception Center as a central point of contact to gather information and to report damages to their homes.  The Reception Center is open today (12/30) from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. and tomorrow (12/31) from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Residents can enter the church at the main entrance on the west side of the building.
