Summer is almost here and that means many people are looking for a good book they can take with them to the pool, park or lake. Organizers of the Friends of the Library book sale say you're sure to find something good at their event May 24th-28th. KSMU's Missy Shelton reports.

Whether you're looking for a mystery, science fiction or a good biography, you'll likely find it at the Friends of the Library Book Sale.

Marcia Kellotat is chairperson of the book sale.

She says proceeds from the sale will benefit the Springfield Greene County Library District.

For the first time, the sale will take place at Remington's on West Republic Road.

Organizers had to move the event from the North Town Mall because it's now closed.

Kellotat says she believes Remington's will be a good location for the sale.

She expects to see a lot of people.

The sale is at Remington's on West Republic Road. The hours of the sale are 9AM to 7 PM May 24th-26th and on Memorial Day. On Sunday May 27th, it's from 1 to 5. Information on the Friends of the Library Book Sale are online at the library dot Springfield dot Missouri dot org.
