Learn Back-to-School Mental Health Tips In Free, Online Event Friday

Burrell Behavioral Health will host a virtual, back-to-school event about COVID-19 and mental health this on August 21.

The Missouri-based mental health and rehabilitation facility says the online summit will be on Facebook Live at noon on Friday, August 21. School-based Burrell staff members will answer questions parents, teachers, and students might have about mental health while dealing with COVID-19.  That will be on Burrell’s Facebook page.

Burrell is also releasing a free handbook on the pandemic and mental health, with tips on keeping a positive attitude and focusing on mental well-being. Tips include connecting with teachers, watching positive videos, and practicing mindfulness.
