As COVID-19 Cases Increase In SW MO, Five Counties Are On MO DHSS Top Ten Lists

Five southwest Missouri counties are on Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services's top 10 lists because of COVID-19.
 
The MO DHSS website shows Taney County in the top 10 counties for the highest percent increase of cases in the past seven days.  The county has had a 34 percent increase in that time period. 
 
According to the Taney County Health Department, the county currently has 64 active cases for a total of 97 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
 
Laclede County has had an even greater seven day increase in growth percentage with 41 percent, and Webster County has seen a 33 percent increase.  
 
McDonald and Jasper Counties remain on the list of the 10 counties with the most cases so far.  McDonald is number seven with 632 cases, and Jasper County has had 611 cases of COVID-19.
