Employees at CoxHealth will receive a new benefit as of the first of the year. The health system will offer all benefit-eligible workers two weeks of paid maternity and paternity leave upon the birth or adoption of a child.
The benefit will be available to those who have been employed with Cox for three months or longer. It willbe in addition to extended sick-time coverage and paid time off that have been traditionally used for maternity leave.
