Vehicle Thefts Reported on the MSU Campus

Two vehicles have been stolen recently on and near the Missouri State campus.

Last Thursday, an MSU student reported to police that their vehicle, parked at John Q. Hammons Parkway and Elm, was stolen.  They had parked it there on Halloween, locked it but left a spare key inside.

On Halloween another student reported a vehicle stolen from Bear Park North on E. Cherry.  The vehicle was locked.

Both incidents are being investigated by the Springfield Police Department.

MSU Safety and Transportation remind you to always lock your vehicle, remove keys and items of value before walking away and report any suspicious activity to Public Safety at 417-836-5509.
