Patrons in grade 5-adults are invited to attend Laura Ingalls Wilder: Pioneer of the Ozarks at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, in the Library Center auditorium, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.

Learn about the interesting life of author Laura Ingalls Wilder who made her home at Rocky Ridge Farm in Wright County, Missouri, for 63 years. Laura Ingalls Wilder Home and Museum supervisor Vicki Johnston and docent Marie Bristol will talk about the peaceful setting where Wilder wrote the Little House books as well as articles about the beauty of Wright County for the Missouri Ruralist.
