The Wilson’s Creek National Battlefield Foundation will celebrate the 151st Anniversary of the battle this Friday. KSMU’s Brittany Donnellan has details.
The Wilson’s Creek National Battlefield will host an anniversary ceremony this Friday morning from 10 to 11 at the visitor’s center. The ceremony is open to the public and the park will be free to visitors all day. Angie Pirotte, a spokesperson for the battlefield, said there will be several guest speakers at the ceremony, including Miss Missouri and a retired Air Force Lieutenant General. Refreshments will be served following the ceremony.
