Bears Undefeated in Missouri Valley Conference

As the college basketball season continues to take shape, the Missouri State Bears are enjoying one of the most successful seasons in school history. KSMU’s Justin Lux reports.

Following Sunday night’s victory over Bradley University, the Bears currently stand at 15-3 overall. Their 7-0 record in the Missouri Valley Conference is the best start since the university joined the conference in 1990 and has them sitting atop the Valley’s standings.

In the previous two seasons, the Bears only won one conference game on the road. This year, however, the team has come back with statement victories, defeating Creighton and Wichita State on their home courts.

For KSMU News, I’m Justin Lux.

ANCHOR TAG: The Bears hope to win their tenth straight game as they face the Indiana State Sycamores Wednesday night before coming home to take on Creighton in a nationally televised game this Saturday on ESPN2.
