Take the covers off the new models, or dust off the old bangers: cars of all shapes, sizes and ages are wanted for the 13th Annual “Cruise for Crosslines.” KSMU's Ryan Farmer reports.

The parade is put on by the Council of Churches of the Ozarks, and its mission is to raise money for food and toys for families in need this holiday season. Cruise for Crosslines is a parade of cars--antique, classic, vintage, or new-- that will be heading through Springfield Sunday, November 2nd.

Drivers are still needed.

The entry fee is a donated food item or toys.

Collette Howland of the Council of Churches says the parade is for a good cause.

The route will begin at Kickapoo High School at noon on Sunday, and will end at the Council of Churches’ headquarters at 2pm.

Volunteers are also needed.
