Chilly Air Settles over Southwest Missouri

As you head home this evening, you'll notice it's a lot colder than when you went in to work this morning. KSMU's Missy Shelton spoke with a meteorologist to find out what we should expect tonight, tomorrow and through the weekend.

There's been talk about the possibility of snow this evening into Thursday.

To find out the very latest, I spoke with John Gagen is senior forecaster with the National Weather Service in Springfield.

He says we may see some snow but it will be the exception, not the rule. The bigger issue will be the cold temperatures. It will be around 30 degrees in the morning. Skies will clear tomorrow during the day but temperatures won't warm much. Friday looks like a good, dry day but temperatures will still be cool with highs in the 40's. Saturday will be cloudy and continued cool. We'll have a chance for rain showers coming into the area late Sunday.
