Missouri Department of Natural Resources Seeks Public Input on Water Resources

The State of Missouri is interested in how Missourians view and value their water resources. To find out, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources has developed an online survey to evaluate how the public views the water resources. KSMU's Joe Morgan has more.

The Missouri Department of Natural Resources is looking forward to improving the state's water resources. The department has launched this online survey to find out how Missourians would like their water resources improved. The spokesperson for the Department of Natural Resources, Kerry Cordray explains the direct purpose of the survey.

Cordray says that the information the survey will generate is crucial to making proper improvements.

Cordray says that the department has no expectations as to what the survey will reveal.

He says there is no rush in getting results, but the department is hoping people will take the survey within a certain time period.

All interested Missourians may participate in the survey. There's a link to the survey along with this story at For KSMU News, I'm Joe Morgan.
