Greene County Juvenile Office to Host Community Fair
The Greene County Juvenile Office is hosting the first annual Community Awareness Fair this Saturday.
KSMU's Matt Petcoff reports...
County officials understand that most people aren't overly excited when they are forced to interact with local judicial officers.
That's why officials with the Greene County Juvenile Office are hoping to change how you perceive agencies within the judicial system.
On Saturday, the Juvenile Office will host its first annual Community Awareness Fair showcasing the many different programs it offers the community.
DeShane Reed is the Assistant Superintendent for the Greene County Juvenile Office.
He says agencies with the judicial system offer more than punishment to community members.
The Community Awareness Fair will feature food, games and entertainment... all free to the public.
The event will take place beginning at 10 a-m until 2 p-m at Jordan Valley Park, rain or shine.
