Christian Associates of Table Rock Lake was founded more than 30 years ago.

Throughout those 30 years, members of Christian Associates have been providing assistance to homeless individuals and domestic violence victims throughout the Table Rock Lake area.

On Tuesday, the Missouri Department of Economic Development and its Neighborhood Assistance Program awarded more than one hundred and 15 thousand dollars worth of tax credits to donors helping Christian Associates.

William St. Clair is the Chief Executive Officer for the Christian Associates.

He says the Neighborhood Assistance Program is more than a win-win, helping the donors and the organization.

The Neighborhood Assistance Program is an application based assistance program.

It allows businesses that donate cash or materials to receive partial state tax credits... sometimes up to 70 percent.

Christian Associates received more than one hundred and 15 thousand dollars, which St. Clair says will go towards housing, job training and job placement.
