Despite high gas prices, experts expect more people will travel over the Memorial Day weekend this year than last year. KSMU's Missy Shelton reports.

If you plan to take to the road or the skies over the Memorial Day weekend, you won't be alone.

Mike Wright is Vice President of Public Affairs for Triple A of Missouri.

Wright says those percentage increases should be true for Missouri as well.

He says last Memeorial Day weekend, drivers faced high gas prices. So, he says be prepared for the sticker shock when you tank up before heading out of town.

Wright says he expects gas prices to begin to moderate as refineries adjust their output levels and strong imports of gas continue.
