SMSU to host Public Affairs Conference

As part of its centennial celebration and statewide mission in public affairs, SMSU will this spring, present a number of nationally known experts in a wide variety of disciplines, at the first ever Public Affairs Conference. The event is titled "Celebrating the Intellect". Mike Smith has the story:

Exactly 262 years after Thomas jefferson was born, SMSU, along with presenting sponsor The Springfield News Leader, will host the first annual Public Affairs Conference. The event will begin on April 13th, Jefferson's birthday, and for three days will feature a variety of noteworthy speakers from around the country to offer public affairs perspectives on education, politics, health, religion, business, entertainment, and other subject areas.
