Springfield-Greene County Park Board

Today (5/11) is National Public Gardens Day, and Friends of the Garden invite you to celebrate with them by visiting the Roston Native Butterfly House on its opening day today from noon to 6.  The butterfly house is located at Nathanael Greene-Close Memorial Park.  Melinda Mullins will present a free concert tonight at 6:30 at the Peace Through People Pavilion (take your own blankets and lawn chairs).  And the Mizumoto Japanese Stroll Garden will be open tonight and tomorrow night from 7:30 to 9:30.  There is a fee for that event.  Click here for more information.

Missouri State University’s Sigma Nu Chapter will host the Saint Jude Crawfish Boil today (5/11) from 12:30 to 4:30 at 1116 E. Elm in Springfield. 

Studio Live Social Hour is tonight (5/11) at 6 at the Backlot at Alamo Drafthouse featuring The Hook Knives who will perform live on KSMU today at noon.

The third annual Nuits Rose Eureka Springs Wine Fest is today, tomorrow and Sunday (5/11-13) at various restaurants in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. 

The Nixa Sucker Day and Craft Festival is today and tomorrow (5/11-5/12) on Main Street in Nixa.  The Sucker Day Parade starts at 6:30 tonight.  Craft booths, kids’ rides and live music start tomorrow morning at 9. 

The Northwest Arkansas Juggling Festival is today and tomorrow (5/11 & 5/12) in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. 

The third annual Springfield Metaphysical Fair will be held today (5/11) from noon to 8 and tomorrow (5/12) from 10 to 6 at the Executive Conference Center, 910 W. Battlefield in Springfield. 

The Clever Bands 13th annual Car & Truck Show is tomorrow (5/12) at Clever High School, 6800 W. State Highway 14 in Clever, MO. 

Springfield Coffee Fest 2018, to benefit Safe and Sober, is tomorrow (5/12) from 8 a.m. to noon at Farmers Park, 2144 E. Republic Rd.  Admission is $10.

The Arts in the Park Concert Series at Wilson’s Creek National Battlefield continues tomorrow night (5/12) at 7 with Brightwater Junction.  Take blankets or lawn chairs. 

The Moxie Cinema’s On Stage Seriescontinues tomorrow (5/12) at 1 with “Bernstein Centenary.” 

COPE, a domestic violence shelter in Lebanon, will host a Fish Frytomorrow (5/12) at the Mills Center.  Doors open at 4, with dinner at 5 and a live auction at 6. 

A Veteran's Writing Workshop will be held Saturday (5/12) from 9 a.m. to noon at the Midtown Carnegie Branch Library in Springfield.   

The Libraries Rock Outdoor Concert will start at 2 Saturday (5/12) at the Library Station featuring Eddie Gumucio and the Electrics.

The Lebanon Farmer’s Market will be open tomorrow (5/12) from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in downtown Lebanon, off Jefferson by the railroad tracks.  

The C-Street City Market will be open tomorrow (5/12) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. near the Footbridge on Commercial Street. 

The Greater Ozarks Farmers’ Market will be open from 8 a.m. to noon tomorrow (5/12) in the southeast corner of the Battlefield Mall Parking Lot.
