Several Job Fairs to be Held this Week in Springfield, Branson

The Missouri Job Center and the Ozark Region Workforce Development Board are helping several area businesses and organizations hold career fairs this week in Springfield and Branson.  Eleven are planned, and Springfield city officials say that’s the most ever held in one week.

A hiring event for Bass Pro Shops will be held today (7/18) from 10 am to 3 pm.  Positions include:  eCommerce architect, checker receiving, security officer, consolidator, cafeteria cook, contact center supervisor, switchboard operator, tax accounting clerk, stocker, loan processor, power plant maintenance and store imagery specialist.

The Missouri Job Center's Springfield location will host a hiring event for Mercy tomorrow (7/19) from 9 am to 2 pm. Mercy will interview for a variety of environmental services, food & nutrition services and ROi (warehouse) positions.

The Missouri Job Center's Branson location will host two separate hiring events tomorrow (7/19) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. VF Outlet will interview for part-time sales associates, and TeleTech will interview for health insurance sales agents. Applicants are not required to be licensed to sell health insurance prior to applying.

The Branson location will also host two hiring events for Festiva on Wednesday, July 20. Festiva will interview frontline sales representatives and frontline sales managers from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. And White River Fish Company (Bass Pro) will interview cooks, servers and bussers from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Missouri Job Center's Mobile Career Center will help Pilot Flying J with a hiring event on Wednesday, July 20, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at their location at the Courtyard Springfield Airport, 3527 W Kearney St. Pilot Flying J will interview for retail cashiers, maintenance/housekeeping, deli team members, restaurant team members, and shift managers.

The Missouri Job Center's Springfield location will host two hiring events for Hy-Vee from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20, and Thursday, July 21. Hy-Vee will interview for 20 open cook positions associated with their restaurant expansion in their store at 1720 W Battlefield Rd.

The Missouri Job Center's Mobile Career Center will assist Human Resource Staffing with a hiring event on Thursday, July 21, from 9 am to 1 pm. The Mobile Career Center will be parked in the Plaza Tower parking lot, 1923 S Glenstone, to assist with online applications for 18 industrial positions and six professional/clerical positions.

The Missouri Job Center's Springfield location will host a hiring event for Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) on Thursday, July 21, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. DMP will be interviewing for assembly positions, material handlers, customer return specialist, customer service representatives and technical support representatives.
