Park Board to Host Hiring Fair

The Springfield-Greene County Park Board will hire nearly 400 people for the summer season, which typically runs from April to September.  It’s partnering with the Missouri Career Center for a job fair next week.  Applicants will be able to meet with supervisors, learn about various jobs and apply on site or online.

Summer jobs range from entry-level cashiers to skilled drivers and maintenance workers.  The park board hires workers as young as 14, and hours range from a few hours to 40 a week.

The career fair will be held Tuesday, February 20, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Mediacom Ice Park.
