Voytech Levandovski came from Poland several years ago as part of a igh school exchange program.

After graduating from Kickapoo high school in Springfield, he decided to stay in Southwest Missouri and study public relations at Drury University.

He's one of many international students who have found a place at the Springfield University.

Levandovski is organizing some of the activities for international education week.

Most activities begin next Monday. Levandovski says it's important for international students to educate their peers and the larger community about their culture.

In addition to providing opportunities to learn more about the international students studying at Drury, international week offers community members a chance to learn about study abroad programs that are available to them through Drury.
