Homocide Suspects Arrested in Springfield

Springfield Police have arrested two suspects in connection with a couple of fatal shootings this week in Springfield. 

Forty-year-old Joshua Brooks, of Republic, was found in his vehicle with a fatal gunshot wound Monday morning in the 400 block of S. Patterson.  Thirty-three-year-old Springfield resident, Christina Duckett, was arrested Wednesday and has been charged with second degree murder and armed criminal action.

Monday evening, 27-year-old Springfield resident, Anthony Correa, was found with gunshot wounds in the yard of a house in the 2500 block of W. Mill.  He later died at a hospital.  Lucky Davis, a 33-year-old from Springfield, was arrested Wednesday and charged with second degree murder, armed criminal action and two counts of unlawful use of a weapon.
