City of Branson Hosts Five-Year-Old Hoping to Meet Every Missouri Mayor

Show Me Ice Cream Facebook Page

A five-year-old Missouri girl hopes to reach a goal of having ice cream with every mayor in Missouri.  And Monday, she’ll get to sit down and enjoy the sweet treat with several mayors from across the state at the Missouri Mayors United for Progress meeting in Branson, part of the Missouri Municipal League annual conference.

Taylor Duncan, of Waynesville, says she wants to learn as much as she can about the state by meeting mayors of each city for ice cream.

Branson Mayor Karen Best will spend some one on one time with Duncan after an ice cream social. Then the mayor will take Duncan on the zip-line ride and the hot air balloon ride at Branson Landing.

Duncan met her 25th Mayor in Conway last week.

Not only will she get to meet several mayors this week, she and her family also plan to meet with Governor Mike Parson in Jefferson City.

Learn more about Duncan's quest here.
