At least a little bit of snow will fall today in the Ozarks. KSMU's Michele Skalicky has more...

Snow is expected to fall in the Ozarks throughout the day today. Some areas have received a little bit already. Meteorologist Drew Albert with the National Weather Service Office in Springfield, says how much snow you have now and how much you’ll get depends on where you are...

"Right in the Springfield area proper, we've been between two bands of snow.  We've had snow along the Arkansas border, and I'm actually looking at a webcam out of Branson right now and they've got what looks to be an inch, inch and a half on the grassy surfaces and it looks like the roads are wet in Branson proper.  We certainly haven't had that much in Springfield, and then you go up north to Lake of the Ozarks, Stockton Lake, Nevada--they've also had an inch or two of snow as well, and Springfield's right in the middle of that.  We've only got a little bit of a dusting of snow."

Albert says periods of light snow will continue throughout the day. The snowfall is expected to pick up later in the day, and he says the Springfield area could get 2 to 3 inches of accumulation.
