The Ozark Trails Council began its 100th anniversary celebration of the Boy Scouts of America. A mural presentation kicked off the year of celebration Tuesday morning in Springfield. KSMU’s Adam Murphy reports. Listen in The Ozark Trails Council serves more than 16,000 youth and volunteers in over 31 counties in Missouri and Kansas. Every scout and volunteer in the area is getting ready for a year of events to celebrate the founding of the Boy Scouts of America. To begin the celebration, a traveling team from the Boy Scouts of America presented the regional council with a mural called: “A Century of Values”. The mural team is traveling throughout the year to present prints of the mural to BSA councils all over the country. The Ozark Trails’ mural will hang in its Springfield service center.
