Listen in Wintry precipitation makes travel difficult. KSMU's Missy Shelton reports. The Missouri Department of Transportation is working to clear roadways as sleet and freezing rain continue to fall across the Ozarks. Bob Edwards is spokesperson for MODOT in Springfield.
Edwards says crews will be working throughout the day to keep roads clear.
But Edwards says that's hard to do when you're dealing with this kind of precipitation. He says drivers need to be careful.
To help you monitor weather and road conditions today, the Transportation Management Center for the City of Springfield is making available the live feeds from its cameras located at various intersections throughout the City. This live feed can be seen on TV23 and on the Web at tv23.springfieldmo.gov. The feed will be extended through the day as conditions warrant.
