From July 27, 2008, a show featuring Delta blues from Son House & Mississippi Fred McDowell; Chicago blues from Big Mama Thornton and Muddy Waters; and contemporary blues from Anthony Gomes, Jackie Payne, Kenny Neal, Robin Rogers, Moreland & Arbuckle, and even the Rolling Stones.

From a show first aired July 6, 2008, John celebrates the Fourth with all live cuts featuring various local artists, along with Bonnie Raitt, Hound Dog Taylor, Robert Lockwood Jr. and many more.
