Erika Brame is from El Paso, Texas, and is a junior at Missouri State University majoring in broadcast journalism. Her academic minor is in environmental policy and science.

Although currently working in radio, she is excited about exploring the various facets of the news industry upon her graduation. In the meantime, she intends to mind her mother’s advice: follow her heart and never give up. Erika’s personal hobbies include sleeping, watching movies, and playing the guitar. She covers the local government and minority beats for KSMU News.
