Michele has worked for KSMU in various role beginning as a student announcer in 1989 when KSMU was in the "old house." Currently, she is host of NPR's Morning Edition and writes and produces stories for KSMU News.

When she's not working, she enjoys spending time with her two daughters, her husband and their mini zoo, including 2 dogs, 4 cats, 3 fish and 3 hermit crabs, volunteering at the Nature Center and the kids' school, leading Girl Scout troops and hiking when time allows.
