Event Description

The Ozarks Genealogical Society will present Exploring Genealogy: Prohibition in Public Records in the Library Center auditorium. Leslie James, field archivist with the Local Records Preservation Program of the Missouri State Archives, will talk about circuit court and other public records regarding bans during Prohibition. Connie Yen, director of the Greene County Archives, will present "Catching the Wave: The Temperance Movement in the Ozarks."
